C, to protest mass government surveillance, as more revelations continued t=
o emerge about the extent of NSA spying on American citizens and world lead=
ers.
It's not an easy thing to stand up against invasions of privacy that we're =
told will keep us safe. It requires critical thinking and a willingness to =
translate that thinking into action.
The same is true for those making a stand on a range of issues, whether it'=
s protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, fighting to raise the =
minimum wage, or blocking the latest efforts to hasten the destruction of o=
ur environment.
