RE: FUND TRANSFER FOR INVESTMENT
I am Engr. Austen Oniwon, the outgoing Group Managing Director, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
I want you to assist us in transferring the sum of (US$75.5M) SEVENTY-FIVE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS ONLY INTO AN OFFSHORE ACCOUNT you will provide for subsequent investment in your areas of specialization and country that has economic/safe environment for investment.
Source of fund: The total amount is legitimately gotten from residues of contracts awarded to foreign companies executed for our organization/FGN. The fund is domiciled with the Federal Government Paying bank and we cannot lay claim on the fund now because I purposely over invoice the contract hoping to claim the balance in the future. Now this is the time to claim it but since the contracts were awarded to foreigners, we cannot claim the fund. This is we are seeking for an individual/company from abroad that we can present as the last contractor to claim the fund. We will perfect the deal and back up with all the necessary documents in your name to claim the fund.
We are two involve in this transaction (I & my other colleague who is in charge of finance and account).
The legal documents shall be forwarded to you in due time for your perusal. We will present you as the contractor who executed the contract and your remaining contract fund of $75 million is yet to be paid. We will perfect all arrangement as the new GMD of NNPC is my junior/friend and all documents to back you up as the rightful contractor/beneficiary of the contract will be provided to you.
However, You will be required to:
(A).Assist in the transfer of the said funds
(B) Advise on lucrative areas of investment
(C) Assist us in the proposed investment company.
WE HAVE AGREED TO DISBURSE THE FUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
1.35% FOR YOU, ACCOUNT OWNER/FOREIGN PARTNER.
2. 60% FOR ME/INVESTMENT.
3. 5% FOR TAXES AND EXPENSES.
