KMA 30 Audio Panel Streamlines Communications in the
Cockpit
The KMA 30 audio panel improves pilots’ flexibility and control
of all radio and audio systems. It includes the following features:
· Flexible radio and music distribution is easily controlled
during flight and enables the pilot to adjust how radio
communications, cell phone audio and entertainment are distributed
throughout the cockpit and to the passengers.
· Secondary radio monitoring options include Isolate mode,
which ensures that communications on the primary radio are always
heard; the secondary entertainment radio is automatically muted when
frequency transmissions overlap.
· Pilot-controlled Bluetooth integration with cell phones and
portable entertainment devices eliminates the need for audio wires in
the cockpit.
· Recording and playback of recent radio transmissions through
the approach control ensure that critical communications are received
and understood, improving pilot and passenger safety.
· Six place intercom capability.
The KMA 30 is also a convenient “slide in” replacement
for select older audio panels. This convenient “Plug and

FACTORY NEW MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAY $1500.00 !!!
The KMD 250 is intended for piston singles. The new MFD offers
most of the advantages of the KMD550 and 850 displays but without the
radar and terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS) interfaces,
systems the vast majority of singles don’t need. (Those that do
can always use the higher-end KMD display systems.) The KMD 250 is
slightly smaller than the 550 or the 850. With a 3.8” diagonal
display, compared with the 5” screen of the MD 550, the size
difference is slight. The 250 measures 3” high, compared to
4” for the 550. The software and remaining capabilities on the
KMD 250 are nearly identical to those on the KMD 550, so pilots
familiar with one of Honeywell’s other MFDs will have an easy
time transitioning to the new hardware. Bendix/King offers 2 versions
of the KMD 250, one that gets its GPS data from a separate GPS
navigator and one that has a built-in GPS. The model with the
built-in GPS can be used as a standalone VFR unit, or it can be
interfaced with a separate GPS, such as Bendix/King’s KLN 94
color IFR-approved moving map GPS. TSO Certified
Units are factory new surplus. Six month Vista Aviation
