t r u t h o u t | The disconnect between communities in this country is almost unbelievable. This disconnect isn't discussed by the elite journalists, paid by the even more elite executives whose checks are signed by the corporate boards who essentially run the world.
But this blackout doesn't mean it's not real. While many of us cower in our progressive bubbles, the hollowing out of our country sweeps closer and closer to our doorsteps.
There are only a handful of news outlets left that practice journalism with old-school standards and the ability to tell the truth. Today we're asking you to help support Truthout - a fully independent news organization that cares about your life and the people around you.
We have no paymasters - which makes covering our expenses difficult but makes doing our job easier. We need to raise about $26,000 more to make our goal for this drive. Your contribution goes a long way and is fully tax-deductible. *Can you help?
