t r u t h o u t | There are plenty of sites out there who use advertising, sponsorships and even astroturf campaigns to raise money (there's even one right-wing site raffling of a handgun every day). We're not going to do that. Instead we ask those who can donate in any amount to do so. This way, your donation goes directly toward our mission.
Right now, Truthout is facing the possibility of a budget gap. This can't happen if we're going to remain a powerful platform for truthtelling, in the face of the Sheldon Adelsons, the Rupert Murdochs and the Koch brothers of the world. Help us make our goal - we're about $32,000 away and we need your support tonight.
