t r u t h o u t | In this post-Citizens United election season, chances are that very few of us can afford to buy commercials in prime time or run targeted web ads to spin and indoctrinate.
But because injustice is all around us and the facts are firmly on the side of peace, we don't need billions of dollars. We can impact the conversation by engaging with the apathetic, organizing with the disenfranchised and continuing to build new relationships and institutions.
*Real impact comes from using your resources (whether they be time, skills or money) to support the people doing work that you feel is aligned with your values.* In a time of unconscious consumption and political despair, the most powerful tool we have is our solidarity with each other.
