Truthout was formed with the mission of cutting through the lies and spin to get to the truth, especially in matters of war. We're still here, working to thresh out the truth about the ongoing class war against poor and working people, the multiple declared and undeclared wars being fought in the Middle East, the corporate war on the environment and the rhetorical war in the media which keeps so many Americans blind and deaf to the challenges we face.
