Lead Engineer for my client in Florida - full time permanent position
I need an Embedded Software Technical Lead Engineer who will have technical
oversight and responsibility for:
1) Embedded firmware development
2) All aspects of software process and management
3) Development of common processor architecture for multiple product
platforms.
4) BSEE/BSCE with 10+ years experience.
5) Strong background in C/C++, Ethernet/IP networking, RTOS, and

JOB SKILLS

Position 4) (Job) Contract Embedded Engineer - Los Angeles for my client in
S. California (Orange County) - 6 months contract position.
Embedded firmware engineer needed who will work on web services and open
systems for my client. Individual will work within existing architecture to
define and implement web services for device control, accounting, scanning
and management. Additional development in the user interface in XHTML and
browser client may be required.
Skills and Requirements (MUST HAVE)
- Embedded application firmware development on and familiarity with the PSOS
OS (C/C++) and development environment.
- Detailed familiarity with XML/Soap Web Services Description Language
(WSDL) development, documentation, and associated Web Services
implementation on embedded platforms.
- Can demonstrate participation in a complete firmware life cycle experience
(Concept, Design, Code, Harden, Deliver) on a particular subsystem/module
during his/her career.
- Most interfaces will be with a .NET platform so experience in that area is
desired. It is helpful to have Linux and PHP web server experience as well
for testing web service development.
- Good communication skills.
Desired:
- Development of web server ASP.NET applications is helpful in integration
and testing of embedded web service counterparts.
- Prior experience with embedded development and debugging on printer
platforms helpful.
Some domestic and international travel required. Must be able to work
extended hours. Must be able to sit at desk for extended periods of time.
Must have command of English language adequate to communicate technical
information.
This is a 6 months contract position with the client in S. CA (Orange
County). Rate is open, but very competitive

web services and open systems for my client. Individual will work =
within existing architecture to define and implement web services for =
device control, accounting, scanning and management. Additional =
development in the user interface in XHTML and browser client may be =

<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>Skills and Requirements (MUST HAVE)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Embedded application firmware development on and =
familiarity with the PSOS OS (C/C++) and development =
environment.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Detailed familiarity with XML/Soap Web Services =
Description Language (WSDL) development, documentation, and associated =
Web Services implementation on embedded platforms.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Can demonstrate participation in a complete =
firmware life cycle experience (Concept, Design, Code, Harden, Deliver) =
on a particular subsystem/module during his/her career.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Most interfaces will be with a .NET platform so =
experience in that area is desired. It is helpful to have Linux and PHP =
web server experience as well for testing web service =
development.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Good communication skills.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=3D2>Desired:</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=3D2>- Development of web server ASP.NET applications is =
helpful in integration and testing of embedded web service =
counterparts.</FONT></P>

debugging on printer platforms helpful.</FONT>

be able to work extended hours. Must be able to sit at desk for =
