Defense 2.0: Transforming DoD Through the New Paradigm of IT is a one-day conference designed to explore how the Department of Defense can apply next-generation Internet technologies in its pursuit of national security.

        - Mitch Komaroff, OSD
        - Robert Carey, CIO, Department of the Navy
        - John Garing, DISA CIO, Moderator
        - Jeffrey Sorenson, Army CIO (invited)
        - Lt. Gen Michael Peterson, Air Force CIO
        - John Hale, Chief of Solutions Delivery, ODNI

From the battle space to the back office, learn how the same technologies that built the blogsphere and Myspace can aid information sharing, interoperability and command and control.

The new wave of the web is already changing the way we communicate in our daily lives. Today's generation of recruits and officers expect to have access to the same capabilities to perform their duties. This event will gather industry and government in a series of lively and informative sessions intended to uncover the possibilities and explore early lessons learned.

Register online http://www.itaa.org/events/event.cfm?EventID=2172 before expiration of early-bird rate! (Please note seating is limited.)

Sponsorship opportunities http://www.itaa.org/upload/es/events/web20/notice/web20_sponsor.pdf are currently available!

Registration classification types are "Industry" and "Government." Contractors working for the Government are not considered Government employees.

ITAA reserves the right to deny conference registration to any party. Representatives of firms primarily engaged in executive search or personnel recruitment are specifically excluded from participation.

Please click here http://www.itaa.org/welcome/optout.cfm to be removed from future ITAA commercial mailings.
