zephyr build problem

I am trying to build the support library "ss" and it fails to compile with
the following error :
listen.c:20: readline/readline.h: No such file or directory
listen.c:21: readline/history.h: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `listen.o'
Is there another tar file that I should have? I am running Sparc Solaris8
04/01 with gcc-2.95.2. The "et" library compiled fine.
