I believe the email/oracle gateway is complete. The changes agreed to last
Monday are complete.
- The originator gets back a revised acknowledgemnet text, including the
original message.
- The subject of the acknowledgement messages now show the following:
"Log nnnn: original subject".
Reply to this subject will append to the logid.
- Error messages (e.g. record locked for append text, no record found
for appending text, oracle unavailable, unknown logid to append text,
etc.) now show the original message when sent to helpsuper@mit.edu.
- I have also tested parsing multiple mail addresses on both the To: and
Cc: headers. For example, computing-help@mit.edu can be anywhere on
these two lines.
