Peter brought a very good point to my attention, which had to do with the
ability to have many people logged into the Oracle database at once.

This morning I did some testing. I created 30 user sessions without a
problem. My test involved using SQL*Plus. This would resemble using
Scopus (which uses SQL*Net as does SQL*Plus) with the exception that my
test used the same username (wade) and the 30 connections were in an
inactive state, meaning there was no current activity.

It's worth watching to see if we hit any limits, initially, we should be
all set.

One note to tell all consultants is to logoff the system when they are
done. Aside from freeing up resources, the database is brought down each
night for backup, thus any connections are lost. The user would get some
Oracle error if they tried to issue a transaction after losing the
connection.
