As of today, I have limited the people who have access to the test (helpus)
database. All 100+ accounts still exist on the database, however, logging
in has been restricted. After the 1.0 release, the test database will be
opened up for those who will be testing the post 1.0 changes.
This will help ensure that final testing of release 1.0 is against
production (helpit database) in order to confirm availability of this
environment, and prevent accidental real data entry on the test database
post release 1.0 (1/8/97).
It is also part of our overall release management strategy, where only
development and testing is accomplished on one machine and the other
machine is used only for production (e.g. no development or testing).
Let me know if there are problems using either database.
