Hi Steve,

Three issues

SPEED:
The Scopus app starts up much faster than the 5-10min time frame you've
mentioned with your 8500/150. I think we should consider ignoring this
"drawback" for now because the startup times are acceptable. For example,
it takes less than a minute to start on my 7600/120 and today I loaded it
onto a Centris 650 (which only has a 50MHz 68040) and it took less than 2
minutes to start up. That aspect is looking good. I haven't looked at your
8500, so I can't explain why it's taking so long. Perhaps there's an
extension conflict or your subnet is slow.

ASTHETICS:
The look on the mac screen is pretty bad, with the overlapping fields and
field names obscured by other field entry boxes. My opinion is that this
should really be fixed before the scopus rollout because it's not just ugly
-- this can result in text in the field entry box being obscured.

PRINTOUTS:
The Helpnet area has 2 macs and a Decstation (which will soon be a Sun),
not PC's. That group always prints logs to keep hardcopy records, and they
hand printouts to the people who walk around to do net installations and
fixes. This area needs attention because screenshots and ASCII text dumps
isn't an acceptable format for them. This printing issue may also be a
prominent issue for the net installers (Steve Goldman, Wael Hishmeh, etc.),
Mike Sampson, Jerry Burke, other non-helpdesk groups.
