Brett and I went over to the E40 machine room to evaluate the help-them machine,
which showed problems this morning with database slowness, unable to run the
Scopus software (e.g. design team) and a clock skew.
Upon investigation, there were a number of read errors on the /u2 disk, which
contains the Scopus software. At this time, this disk is unreadable.
I sent mail to both E40 ops and W91 Facilities Management. Without knowing
alot about disks, my thought is that the /u2 volumn will need to be restored.
