Working On Milestone:
- Beta phase continues with multiple releases, testing, and assessment
of work required to complete this phase.
- The team will determine appropriate time for next beta release (1.0b4)
Accomplishments:
- Completed release 1.0b3 testing
- Held feedback and assessment meeting on release 1.0b3
- Started to work on release 1.0b4 based on feedback meeting
- Reached tactical decisions on managing software lists in release 1.0
- Adjusted original Sun SPARC 20 quotation, req. singed by MIT/VP
- Work continued on Tcl/coding documentation, tracking down issues with
Macintosh client
Goals:
- Continue work on release 1.0b4
- Begin planning for next beta release and rollout timeline
- Continue with Tcl/coding documentation on 7/22
- Prepare for production machine purchasing/delivery
Issues:
- Outstanding Macintosh problems, waiting for Scopus reply
Notes (or today's random thoughts):
- A number of design decisions and tabled design items are contingent on
how well release 1.0 is received. Not only does release 2.0 need to
consider those items that did not make it into release 1.0, but it
needs to review release 1.0 usage for possible changes to either the
process or the application.
