Hi,
I've yet to come across a really good SAP architecture book; there's a few
publications on the market aimed at project managers and executives looking
to implement SAP, but they tend to focus heavily on the business needs
rather than the technical aspects. I've thumbed through QUE's weighty SAP
R/3 tome at my local Barnes & Noble and it provides a decent overview of
the applications. It retails around the $75 mark and might be worth a
closer look. Unfortunately, I don't have the ISBN to hand, but I would
suspect you could locate it at most major bookstores.
On the ABAP/4 side, I would recommend "Developing SAP's R/3 Applications
with ABAP/4" by R=FCdiger Kretschmer and Wolfgang Weiss, published by Sybex
(ISBN 0-7821-1881-X). The authors are both SAP developers, so they know
what they're talking about and present the topics in a clear and readable
fashion. The book retails for $59.99.
Hope this helps,
