Congratulations! You have chosen the 'magic part' of SAP :-)
No seriously, good technical SAP people are rather scare ...

I can recommand you ONE thing that made me a good ABAP/4 programmer ( it is
nice to brag about oneself ;-) )   Take a look at the standard code of SAP
 I mean those things written by SAP self ) ... Those programs are programmed
to be as fast as possible and thus contain a lot of programmer tricks ( and
even unofficial statements ) ... I learned a lot about debugging and
snoofing around in the system ... Once you mastered it .. you can do
ANYTHING you want in SAP ...  It 's only natural that all those funcies are
so jealous about we techies ... :-)
