Is there an easy way to control access by transaction code? If
so, do I need to be concerned about the threat that SAP will be doing
away will transaction codes in the future. (Assuming what I have heard
is true)
One strategy I am considering is to create profiles based upon
the scripts being created by our functional teams. Currently this
means about 300 scripts times 2 (one for display and one for update).
And then create composite profiles associated to job function. After
that, users will be assigned a job profile(s).
Granted, creating the profiles based upon the scripts will be
lots of up front work in determining all of the authorization objects
required (most likely will use trace function).
Anyone else out there who has gone through this process and
willing to share/compare ideas?
Many Thanks In Advance,
