I worked with both ARIS and Intellicorps Live Model as a consultant and
would recommend the Live Model. Obviously most of the big-6 (soon big-4)
consulting firms have the same view (its use at least by Deloitte &
Touche, Price Waterhouse and was choosen by KPMG as replacement for
ARIS, AFAIK E&Y and HP use it as well). It does the job better.
You can dynamically run through the EPCs of the processes and jump
directly into SAP transactions form the EPC to visualize the process in
SAP.
AFAIK Live Model will be sold by SAP itself by beginning of 1998 as
"official" modelling tool with Release 4.0.
You may want to look at www.intellicorp.com for further infos. You can
probably obtain a demo version on CD (they gave it away at the
SAPPHIRE).
