Q: jlaunch starting too many threads?

Hi!
Recently I noticed that on one machine that has SAP Enterprise installed (and
does nothing with Java) there was a "jlaunch" process that had started over
200 kernel threads. I wonder what is the reasoning behind; there might be work
to do in the future? As there is about zero Java-activity, I consider this as
wasteof resources...
