On the ohter hand, the ABAP/4 QUERY tool is kind of handy for more advanced
users who would like to write their own little programs in case they need
it. Those programs would be the kind of "SELECT-some
stuff-and-display-it-and-don't-ask-me-anything-more" programs :-) No to
detailed stuff.
You could also use the query tool to generate a program and then modify that
program to your needs ( but I personally never did that and wouldn't want to
...)
Anyway, also worth considering is that the QUERY tool isn't that easy to use
( at first sight ) so do expect some extensive user training/support ...
