Hello,
*** Please forward this email to anyone who maybe able to help, many
thanks in advance ***
East Sussex County Council have implemented SAP and are now looking to
migrate East Sussex schools into the same SAP system. 98% of schools
currently use software by Capita called SIMS.
I'm involved in a technical project which will look to take SAP data
exported in XML, and import this into SIMS - SIMS runs on Microsoft SQL
Server 2000 and is written in Microsoft .net technologies.
ESCC have partnered with ITNET (soon to be called SERCO Learning) and at
a project meeting Thursday I was informed that even though ITNET are a
SAP partner, they cannot get the following information from SAP!
Can anyone please help!
I need to find SAP information on a "SAP to SIMS interface module" which
SAP publish in a "product manual". , this apparently says the interface
module costs £15,000. If ESCC cannot find information on this, we are
faced with developing our own which will cost us more than £15k, this is
valuable money which schools could be putting to better use.
Do you know any SAP consultants who might have contacts inside SAP who I
can ask for help?
Please forward this email to anyone who maybe able to help, many thanks
in advance.
