SAP/IT Systems Manager
Are you looking for a fulltime opportunity to use your SAP expertise,
while working for a first class corporation? A.C.Coy has a client, who
is looking for a SAP/IT Systems Manager, to join their global
organization, in Tokyo Japan. You as the SAP/IT Systems Manager will
act as the operational focal point for all application software systems
within the corporation with an emphasis on SAP. You will provide
continual support for SAP, as well as other production systems by
maintaining and meeting operating schedules and deadlines. You will
communicate, primarily in Japanese and secondarily in English,
management and production issues with, SAP, as well as other systems,
to the appropriate support staff, both internal and external to the
corporation, and follow any issues through to acceptable resolution.
You will coordinate changes to SAP and other production systems with
both external service providers as well as other corporate IT groups to
ensure service level objectives are maintained both for the
corporation, as well as other business units. You will act as team
lead and resident expert in SAP to implement new functionality in SAP
or re-engineer business processes to support the corporations'
business requirements. Be able to provide insight and guidance based
on past experiences, and offer suggestions and solutions to challenges
and issues currently presented by the corporation's business and make
quantifiable improvements. You must be able to interface, primarily in
Japanese, and secondarily in English, with the system users and
business process owners to interpret, document, and draft
specifications for systems development, configuration, and
implementation.
If you have a Bachelors Degree, are fluent in both Japanese and
English, have 5 to 10+ years of business or IT related experience
demonstrating the ability to install, design, configure, or maintain
application software related to sales and distribution processing,
demonstrable knowledge (3+ years) of version 4.6c or 4.7 of SAP's R/3
Sales & Distribution (SD) or Service Management (SM) module, posses the
ability to understand application interfaces as they relate to the SAP
R/3 modules in an ERP setting is highly recommended, have knowledge of
SAP's ABAP programming language, specifically with SAP's R/3 ERP
Enterprise Core Component modules, and a strong associated knowledge
and practical experience with SAP's R/3 Finance & Accounting (FI)
module, Materials Management (MM) module, and Business Warehouse (BW),
then this is the position you have been looking for! Client is
offering from $120,000 to $200,000 with full benefits, based on
experience. Interested Managers must be fluent in both Japanese and
English.
