* In some specific cases, acquisition of asset requires to acquire the
acquisition value and the cumulated depreciation amount. Example: In one
company the acquisition amount is 100 bef and the cumulated depreciation is
20. This asset is sold to GVB sa at the remaining book value 80 bef. The
postings to be done are:
Debit Asset acquisition account for 100 bef
Credit cumulated depreciation account for 20 bef
Credit Vendor account for 80 bef

* Revaluation of Asset. Which depreciation key must we use to depreciate a
revaluation on the same lifetime as the life of the asset revaluated ?
* Example : Asset acquired on 01.01.97 for 5.000 bef,
This asset is to be depreciated in 5 years : 1000 bef per year.
The 01.01.99 this asset is revaluated for 2.000 bef. These 2.000 bef must
be depreciated over 5 years also. This means that the acquisition value
5.000 will be completely depreciated the 01.01.2001 and the revaluation
will be completely depreciated the 01.01.2003.
Remark : the revaluation must be posted with specific accounts:
Debit revaluation account 23080000 : 2.000 bef
Credit account 12100000 : 2.000 bef

* How can we delete a project in PS if no postings have been made on it
(this is the case if we made a mistake during the creation of the master
record of the Project ?

* How is it possible to have a budget in the company code currency of the
project if the controlling area currency is different than the company code
currency ?

* If we define validation rules in PS, the created rule is mentioned in the
project profile but is not active when we create a new Project based on
this project profile. The question is : how are the validation rules
activated ?

* In the PS standard reports why does the system provide different results
if we use the structure oriented report or the cost element oriented.
Explanation : in the structure oriented report, the settlement amounts are
not included but in the cost element oriented structure, the settlement are
included.

* If masks are used, it is no longer possible to use the sign * in the
report selection in order to have all the wbs elements and projects that
fit with the selection criteria. Is it a bug or is it because we can only
use wbs elements/project names that fit with the masks ?

area currency can not be settled ? Bug ? (OSS note 60603)
