We implemented BW for a client this summer.
The warehouse used SD data, with an initial cube was based on an LIS
structure.
At the time there was little or no ASAP for BW, so we had to develop project
management and documentation techniques, as well as work from a minimum of
BW documentation. This should be easier now.

Implementing the development system was straight forward - the problems came
with the volumes of data involved when we started to load from the
production system. I would advise to do this as early as possible in your
project. Loading the customer hierarchy for 200,000+ customers caused the
system to crash. And rebuilding agrregates after a load took an unacceptably
long time.

Feel free to contact me personally if you have more specific questions.

Greetings:

We are beginning a Business Warehouse project just after the first of the
year. Anyone gone through this before, Business Warehouse implementation
that is? Any stories on what went well? Any stories on what to watch out
for?

Thanks,
