Sebastian International is in the process of implementing R/3 on the
AS/400. They have begun with Financials and will then move to SD/MM.
The R/3 applications are production worthy, however the installation and
upgrade documentation and process show the newness of the software on the
platform (i.e. vague, incomplete, etc.). This is a pain, but it does work.
Sebastian has succesfully upgraded all three SID's to 3.0e.
The AS/400 is an excellent machine and I believe R/3, as it matures, will
develop into a major player in the AS/400 application suite wars.
