I don`t know what your Function does or where you get the SYSTEM_FAILURE.
But you normally get a SYSTEM_FAILURE when your ABAP does something that
can not be handled by RFC, like an ABAP-Dump, an E or A message or a popup.
But the filename in your example points to another direction. R/3 uses
a so called GMUX data-channel between the application server and the
SAPGUI on the presenation server for file up and downloads. You see,
there is no SAPGUI running in a RFC session, and therefore no GMUX
channel and no file up and download. There are some other functions that
need the sapgui, like frontend printing or presentation graphics.
Maybe you are simply trying to do something that can not work.
