Just a suggestion...
The printing of documents simply requires a 'printing ABAP' and a 'layout
set'. What you are missing is the 'automatic triggering' of the printing
ABAP at FI document posting (standard functionality for e.g. SD postings)
What you could do is create your own 'printing ABAP' (which can be run
periodically in batch) wich selects the FI documents entered as 'stand
alone invoices' posted since the last run (probably a special FI document
type) and 'fills' the layout set which can then be sent to the output
device.
(you might even think of a solution using workflow managment to trigger the
printing ABAP)
