We have implemented FI/CO/AM/AP/MM/PM/PS/HR. We have used Business Areas
in FI to provide Financial Statements on level below Company Code. We are
in the process of testing Profit Centre Accounting as a means of reporting
costs collected on Cost Centres, Internal Orders, WBS Elements and PM
Orders to Profit Profit Centres identified in these cost objects. In our
testing it appears that the Profit Centre can be updated on existing
objects with the exception of Internal Orders that have been posted to,
this is an issue as it means we have to create new orders to use PCA. Also
to fully implement PCA we will need to label all existing cost objects and
will need a custom process to update these objects. I would appreciate any
suggestions, recommendations or lessons learned.
