Have you tried the R/3-focussed MIT list server ? Send an email to
listserv@mitvma.mit.edu with body text of "subscribe sap-r3-l" (no
quotes).
You might want to filter it down to the Basis area only, or risk
receiving
around 100 emails a day covering all areas of R/3.
