Greetings!

We are a Short Line Railroad maintaining Track, Locomotives, Rolling Stock
and Equipment on a day to day basis.
Does anybody have any experience to share regarding what savings are
associated with the implementation of a computerized Maintenance Management
System? We are particularly interested in savings with respect to these
areas:

      1. Labor - Man-power planning ( Work Order Management)
      2. Preventative Maintenance (savings associated with reduced
breakdowns)
      3. Material (Requirements Planning)

Any quantified feedback, or direction as to where this information may be
obtained, is welcome.
