Hi, everyone:

My name is Jason and I work for the ITDC of Korean Air in
Los Angeles. I am participating in a comparative study project
to decide which one of the leading ERP tools, SAP and Baan, can
better support the business requirements of our sister company,
which is in the shipping and transportation business, in Korea.
In reviewing the Gartner Group ERP market analysis study, I
noticed that Baan received higher marks than SAP in the
"vision" and "technology" areas.

My colleagues and I agree that SAP has more functionality
and supports more business processes. But we have difficulty
in understanding why Baan is superior to SAP in terms of
"vision" and "technology". Since we are new to the ERP field,
your comments regarding this topic are welcome.

Regards,

Jason Yang
Korean Air, ITDC
