SP - SAP Database node "hangs"

I have SAP R/3 3.0E running on my SP2.
I have a Database node ( 6way High Node, AIX 4.1.4, PSSP 2.2 )
which runs for about a week then hangs up. SAP keeps running, but you
cannot get a Aix session via the switch, ethernet or the SPmon Console (
serial line ) connects. SPMON resets, power offs, etc. are ignored.
the only way to get the box right is to flip the switch on the node (
yikes! )
in my errpt I get "harmld" errors and one which is
"ha_rr_init() error(104)" which is Spmi: Common memory locked by process 1
anyone had experience with this?
