Hi all,
I have some questions regarding the database server products used with SAP
R/3.
My first question is: Is MS SQL Server usable? The reason why I ask this is
because I have used the product from version 4.21 up till now 6.5, and I have
had an enourmous amount of trouble with it. This includes corrupt database
devices (which supposedly is fixed in Service Pack 2), non-ANSI compliance,
and various other bugs as well. The product also has extremely poor
performance compared with other RDBMS's.
My second question is: What performance considerations are the most important
when using an RDBMS for SAP R/3?
Any links or pointers to relevant information will be appreciated greatly!
