BASIS: Printing More than One Copy

Hi!
Our LANs are NT and Netware/Windows 3.11. Our typical printers are HP
IIIs, IVs and Vs. From a print screen list , you can chose to print
one or more copies. When we try to print more than one copy to a NT
printer, only one copy comes out; when we try to print more than one
copy to a Netware printer, the requested number of copies come out.
The two printers used in the test were HP IIIs, and were configured
identically (except printer names).
Could it be the NT print server is stripping out or not interpretting
a print control character? Or what else may be going on?
