Yes it has it is an inherent part of the SAP framework and is made up of a
number of Information Systems that make up the OIW. It is however a very
customisable and flexible framework but does need a lot of time and effort
to produce the results you want.
One major drawback is the fact thgat it runs on the SAP operational system.


Try extracting the data into a seperate database and building your own much
quicker and more effective for the user. 
I have done it at a number of customer sites and it works a treat they are
very happy
