Responsibilities include specification, design, and implementation of
significant, new functionality to compliment Ardent's PQM, DataStage, PWE,
and MetaStage products. You will work in a team of highly skilled
professionals and develop new product features responding to market needs in
the areas of data quality management, meta-data extraction, data mapping,
and application solution integration. Work requirements may include rapid
discovery and learning of external products and interfaces, specification,
design, development, unit and system testing, and user interface design.

The qualified candidate will possess a BS or MS in Computer Sciences and
9-14 years programming experience. Strong design and programming skills are
a must with good in depth knowledge of the Windows 95 & NT development
environment, Visual Basic, and C/C++. A good working knowledge of SAP R/3
and its programmatic interfaces should be supported with practical
experience. A working knowledge of UNIX environments is also highly
desirable. Other key skills and knowledge areas include: RDBMS, SQL, ODBC,
MS MFC, ActiveX, JAVA, and TCP/IP. Experience with Oracle, Sybase, Informix,
DB2/MVS, DB2/400, UDB or a similar database environment is a definite plus.
