Hello sap r/3 user!
i'm a student of BA-university in mannheim, germany and i'm writing my
dissertation about the abilities of r/3 regarding electronic commerce. for
this purpose i'm still looking for reliable sources providing information
for my work. among other things the following topics are of special
interest:
x existing (operational) r/3-ec solutions
x different capabilities (?) of different releases (3.x/4.x)
x integration in r/3 rel 4(.5) standard (means no additional sw-components)
x payment-systems with r/3 (credit card, smartcards,...)
x security techniques
x experiences with ITS and IAC's
x SAP Automation/Intelligent Terminal
x access to SAP via RFC
x time/cost amount needed for implementing an r/3-ec solution
x weaknesses/disatvantages of sap's ec-solutions
x informations regarding SAP IDoc are of interest, too
x developments by sap to come in the near future
x competing solutions by other erp-producers like baan/j.d. eswards/...
if someone is interested in this kind of information, too, i will publish
the
