FWIW,
JDE is being very aggressive right now. They seem to be doing bleeding edge
stuff too. A company I'm affiliated with evaluated many systems and has
purchased OneWorld.
MFG/Pro (developed here locally - I know some of the employees) is a good
product especially if you deal in multiple currencies. My father-in-law
uses MFG/Pro in all the European companies he runs. They have data centers
in France, Germany, Spain and the UK. The #1 problem he talks about is the
lack of trained Progress developers, etc. I've also heard this about JDE
too, so it's a problem regardless.
SAP is too expensive.
