Da hilft dann wohl OSS Hinweis 39405
Symptom
Printing uses coupling method "U" on a UNIX LPD. The print terminates
with the error message "Malformed Address".
The syslog contains messages of the type "Connection to LPD could not be
made". Syslog ID is FAA.
Additional key words
Cause and preconditions
The cause is different for the various UNIX systems.
1.System V: This includes SINIX and Solaris. On an LPD running under
these systems, you can only print from another System V UNIX system.
It is not possible to print to this machine from Novell, NT or R/3!
2.HP-UX: A security check failed in the file /etc/inetd.sec
3.AIX: AIX only allows the user ROOT to access LPD. As R/3 runs
under the user <sid>adm, it is not possible to print from R/3!
Solution
1.In the local host spool, set up a remote printer and then print via
this to
the UNIX LPD with coupling method N.
2.Add the following entry to the /etc/inetd.sec file:
printer allow <hostname>
3.as in 1.
