order details for the material.

ii) Created a PO transaction by using update bundling technique
to function as a logical unit of work (LUW):
=B7 Created a purchase order transaction with a step loop for
item details and with flow of screens by using update
bundling technique to function as a logical unit of work.
iii) Transferring data from legacy system to SAP R/3 system
by developing Batch Data Communication (BDC) programs:
Developed BDC programs for transferring the data from legacy
system to SAP R/3 system for the following transactions.
=B7 Material master data with selected views and purchase
order data with multiple line items by using Sessions
method.
=B7 Vendor Master data by using Call Transaction method.
iv) Developing layout set and writing the print program:
The following layout sets were created and called by the
respective print programs for on-line printing the
documents.

v) Created an ABAP/4 Query by using logical database:
Created an ABAP/4 Query by using logical database ELM with
functional groups, functional areas and user groups. After
successful testing of the query, it was transported from
Development client to the Production client.
B) Worked with COURTAULDS PLC, London, a British
Multinational and Fortune 500 company in their Marine
paints division as Distribution Executive (Marine paints)
during the year 1997 - 1998.
Well trained in using Mfg - Pro ERP package in the areas
of Sales & Distribution and Quality Management.
Job Responsibilities:
=B7 To ensure that the Marine paints reach the vessels both
in India and abroad on time by using various facilities
available in the ERP system for stock checking at plant
and other godowns.
=B7 Processing of purchase orders and ensuring full supply of
marine paints by generating various documents in the ERP
system.
=B7 Constant interaction with all our Courtaulds world-wide
offices regarding the stock availability of various marine
paints for 100% supply of paints to foreign and domestic
vessels on time.
. Forming a main communication link between Sales and
Distribution departments by efficiently using the
Mfg - Pro system.
=B7 Processing customer returns by generating various documents
in the ERP system.
=B7 Generated various reports and documents on Mfg - pro system
like account ageing reports, stock reports, sales reports,
sales forecasting reports, delivery documents, sale order
documents, billing documents (including negative invoicing),
pick lists, generating batch cards for batch production
of paints, quality reports and others as required by
the various departments of the company from time to time.
Functional Experience:
Worked with Pennar group, a joint venture of ELF ANTAR,
a French Multinational and Fortune 500 company, in their Fuel
Oil additives division as an Executive (Manufacturing
Operations & Technical Services) during the period 1993 - 1997.
I am the First Engineer to be recruited by the French
Petroleum giant when they started their operations in India.
During my tenure with the company I secured appreciation
letters from the CEO of the company for my outstanding
services to the company.
