correction delivery hoses confirm qty's

we have scheudling agreements with forecast and jit delivery schedules.
these come in from EDI, and are confirmed just fine, UNTIL we do a
correction delivery. from this point on, if we bring jit in AFTER forecast,
jit will not confirm, no matter what we try.
Something in the correction delivery seems to be causing this to happen.
Unformtunately, we have a correction delivery on about EVERY order, as we
use this to set up, then correct customer CUM qty's.
what can we do to stop this erroneous behavior?
