SAP HR ANALYST
This position is a systems analyst role with proficiency in the areas
of business knowledge, IS management, systems development and
maintenance, service delivery, technical consultancy and professional
skills. Proficient SAP configuration and programming skills are
required with business knowledge gained through interaction with
customers. The position works with business clients, peers, other IS
organizations, and external contractors to deliver high quality
application solutions and support against agreed upon service level
measures for assigned SAP customer areas.
Role Responsibilities:
=B7 Possess understanding of the business objectives and operations of
the Human Resource and Payroll business functions.
=B7 Demonstrates proficiency for standard SAP configuration and
internally developed solutions or custom programs =B7 Performs detailed
analysis of moderate to complex business process requirements and
provide appropriate system solution; assists with the collection,
interpretation, validation and documentation of customer requirements
=B7 Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and supports
custom programs.
=B7 Partners with peers when integrating functionalities across
applications and/or modules =B7 Develops end-user security profiles and
authorizations within the application =B7 Develops and delivers
application training to customers =B7 Proactively identifies and
proposes business process and/or technical enhancements =B7 Works self-
directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more
junior members =B7 Follows applicable company standards, policies,
procedures, and best practices in the implementation and/or
maintenance of applications or application modules =B7 Demonstrates
required competencies on a consistent basis =B7 Demonstrates company
values on a consistent basis =B7 Performs other duties as requested
Requirements : Education:
=B7 BA/BS with business or technical emphasis
Experience:
=B7 Minimum of 7 years related professional experience =B7 Minimum of 5
years related SAP experience with 3 years of experience supporting 3
of the following 6 functions: Personnel Administration, Benefits
Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management,
Compensation and Payroll =B7 Participated in 2 or more ERP
implementations and/or upgrades =B7 Understanding of Human Resource and
Payroll business processes =B7 Pharmaceutical industry experience
desirable
Professional Skills:
=B7 Must have hands on configuration in U.S. Gross to Net payroll
calculations, Payroll taxes, Payroll accounting and general payroll
processes, Rules & Schemas, Payroll Clusters, Custom Rules, Wage
Types, Time & Attendance, PA, Payroll interfaces, Garnishments and 3rd
party remittance =B7 Design, Development & Analysis of Functional
Specifications and propose SAP solutions.
=B7 Must have demonstrated ability to develop custom interfaces and
programs using ABAP, IDOC, ALE and other middleware =B7 Knowledge of SAP
ESS/ MSS and SAP Portal a plus =B7 Must have demonstrated ability to
perform all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) =B7 Must
have demonstrated ability to understand business processes from a
customer perspective, identify technical enablers, procedural re-
engineering solutions and process improvements that meet business
needs across the organization =B7 Must know what satisfies customers and
make customer satisfaction a high priority for self and team =B7 Must
have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively
interacting with others =B7 Must conform to and promote policies and
procedures to ensure adherence to FDA and other regulatory
requirements =B7 Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a "can-do"
