Hi,
You should contact tour local SAP representative and they will provide
you with the available options.
In general, you will be offered with following options:
1. leasing the SAP hosted SAP R/3 and working remotely (if I recall
well, it's about $600/month)
2. aquiering SAP R/3 IDES license.
for the option two, you should make sure that you are aquiering the
propoer license:
1. if you need to perform any ABAP development you will need developer
licenses (one for each developer, about 6000 EUR per developer)
2. if you need to test only the IDOC/BAPI/whatever interface with R/3,
than you should state so and you will have option to aquire different
license (mainly cheeper on per user basis).
All the licenses are annual and include maintenance and support for
that year. In other words, you will need to continue to pay to SAP
every year.
NOTE: all the information included may be incorrect and you shold check
what works for you with your local SAP representative.
