A) Hi. Are there any specified patches required for oracle upgrade to
9.2 from 8.1.7.2?
I am on hpux 11.0. From "oracle 9i installation guide, A96167_01.pdf",
it mentions about the below patches for HPUX 11.0

Want to seek your experience whether the upgrade will go well without
these patches?

Here is how i try to import the DVD data into my staging area.
myhost:oradev 93> pwd
/oracle/stage
myhost:oradev 94> ls -ltr 920_64

SAPCAR: can not create directory Disk1 (error 3). Permission denied
The unpack of the first package is ready
please insert the second ORACLE 9.2 CD
and call UPGRADE.ORA on this CD
Please advise.
