By this I assume you mean SAPGUI.
I've been using the 22B and 22D SAPGUI under the last-but-one build for
a couple of months now, and it works a treat. The winsock I've been using
is Microsoft's own client. The connection seems much more stable (as do
the majority of applications) than with Windows 3.x - there's a noticable
lack of GPFs and the like.
We've found that Win 95 works very well on 'standard' kit - off the shelf
IBM, Compaq and the like, but behaves strangely on clones or anything with
none branded clone boards - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I've personally had problems if I've gone back into the network setup and
tried to 'tweak' the settings - it's stunningly easy to leave yourself
without a network with a total 95 reinstallation as the only option. This
may be down to the beta software, my hardware or a lack of understanding
on my part. My advice is to take the installation defaults, letting the
software discover what you're wired up to, set the addresses and then don't
touch it again.
My setup is an IBM VP 486/33 16Mb RAM and a 3Com Etherlink III NIC on
Ethernet.
