hi bart,
i think the report sum up. the problems with r/3. to get successful with
sap you've to handle many items.
i'm an sap-hr-consultant since 4 years and only have successs-stories in
implementation sap. in time as well as budget.
here some suggestion
- you should use consultants to start and realize the project. their
expirience will help you to find the best project-team.
- you should use project-managment technologies (project-team,
project-plan, quality-management)
- you have to look at your milestones
- the project-manager must be able to decide
- change management have to be lived
- the project have to be supported by the management
- the aim of the consultant must be to get a satisfied customer and not
to get most turnover
- to implement the easiest solution not absolute the best
- not to change from the old system in 1:1
i think sap is at the time the best integrated bussines software you can
get.
ciao
