The ZF Group, a major supplier to the automotive industry is looking
for applicants for:
SAP PLC & HR interface administrator
- Reports to the Corporate IT Manager
- Supports the PLC interface to the manufacturing line & SAP
- Supports the HR interface to SAP (Kronos and ADP)
- Responsible for the technical flow & efficient communication of data
between the customer, manufacturing line & SAP
- Responsible for the technical flow & efficient communication of data
with the HR payroll vendor
- Monitors backup processing, on-line operations, and night time
operations for devices supporting the PLC & HR interface
- Monitors activity logs of the PLC & HR interface
- Schedules, communicates, and coordinated system downtimes
- Performance monitoring of external PLC & HR interface devices, i.e.
data storage server, communication hardware & software, communication
lines
- Coordinates the backup, archiving and recovery plan of external
devices supporting the PLC & HR interface, & the PLC on-site backup
data storage servers
- Responsible to monitor version levels, and coordinate the upgrades
of the PLC & HR interfaces
- Develops, communicates, and coordinates the technical disaster
recovery plans
- Develops and assists in the development of ABAP reports for the
modules
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of college, computer science degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in computing environment
- experience working on computer implementation projects
- 1 - 2 years of experience with Win NT server
- Visual C programming experience
- experience with manufacturing products/processes (preferred)
- 1 - 2 years of experience with TCP/IP networking
- knowledge & experience with backup & recovery processes
