Please excuse my inexperience with newsgroups. I am unsure of how to find
out if this particular discussion has already come up.
I was wondering how other companies implementing SAP are being affected by
53 week years. (i.e. use SAP function DATE_GET_WEEK, and enter in
19981231, the response will be 199853. )
My company runs its business strictly by weeks and is currently being
affected by this problem. My company is sure learning the ultimate lesson
of why not to hardcode anything (i.e. IF > 52 THEN do something...).
How are others being affected?
